SUPRAMORPHOUS
supra / beyond, morphous / form. - "A joyful avant-garde."
Welcome to Supramorphous, where fashion transcends the ordinary and sustainability knows no bounds. Rooted in the ethos of going supra, beyond the conventional, and embracing the morphous nature of form, we are a testament to fearless design merging seamlessly with genderless sustainability.
Our journey began with a vision to defy norms and cultivate uniqueness. In the bustling city of Toronto, Canada, in the spring of 2017, two audacious Mexican designers, Ana Carpio and Luis Padilla, embarked on a quest to blend fashion and industrial design while upholding a steadfast commitment to sustainability. Thus, Supramorphous was born—a bold studio poised to revolutionize the fashion landscape with its avant-garde approach.
Since our inception, we've served as a creative lab, crafting fashion statements with integrity and purpose. Each piece in our collections is a testament to our dedication to sustainability, meticulously fashioned from natural fibre textiles. Our designs celebrate authenticity and body diversity, shattering stereotypes and fostering inclusivity.
Collaboration is at the heart of our ethos. We thrive on pushing boundaries and embracing the unexpected, welcoming diverse perspectives and forging meaningful connections. From partnering with contemporary dance and ballet choreographers to showcasing our creations at prestigious fashion events like Toronto and Vancouver Fashion Week, our journey knows no limits.
With numerous pop-up shops spanning Toronto, Kyoto, Berlin, and soon Leon, our mission is clear: to empower individuals to dress with values and purpose. At Supramorphous, we believe that fashion is more than mere adornment—it's a powerful form of expression capable of catalyzing positive change. Join us on our quest to create a brighter, more beautiful future—one stylish, sustainable garment at a time.
